Why Eskimo?

All software developed by Nebula Systems (UK) Ltd is subject to a name already given to a nebulae.

The Eskimo Nebula (NGC 2392) is so called because, when viewed through ground-based telescopes, it resembles the face of an Eskimo surrounded by a fur parka. For more information click here.

Other programs developed by Nebula Systems and named after Nebulae are Lagoon (an Aviation based quotation and supply program) and Cygnus written for the NHS.
